Buddy is a family assistant run by DigiSoft LLC, DBA DigiDog Tech, in Kokomo, Indiana. It is a private app for our household and invited family members — not a public product.
When you sign in we keep the email address we sent the magic link to, your chats, files you upload, and settings you choose (appearance, safety, and account permissions). If you connect Google or Microsoft, we store encrypted tokens so Buddy can act as you. Each person connects their own account. Nobody shares a mailbox.
Buddy only reads or changes mail and calendars after you press Connect on Accounts and approve the Google or Microsoft consent screen. You can turn off send, schedule, and cancel on Accounts, and you can disconnect at any time. A family admin can see whether someone is connected — not the contents of their mail or calendar.
We use this information to run Buddy for your family: chat, lookups, drafts, sends you asked for, and calendar changes you asked for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Chats, files, and connected-account tokens stay until you delete them or we remove the family member. Disconnecting Google or Microsoft deletes that connection. We keep sign-in records as needed to run and secure the app.
Family members, including children, only get a Buddy login when a parent adds them. Parents can later limit what Buddy may change on a kid’s mail or calendar.
